Security checkpost in Kalat’s Shah Mardan area resulted in the martyrdom of seven security personnel, while six militants were neutralized in the ensuing response by the forces.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a statement detailing the incident that unfolded late at night between November 15 and 16. Terrorists launched an attempt to breach the security post, sparking a fierce confrontation.

Security forces acted swiftly and decisively, repelling the attack and inflicting significant losses on the assailants. The operation left six militants dead and four others wounded.

The statement acknowledged the supreme sacrifice of seven soldiers who fell in the line of duty amid the intense firefight. A comprehensive search operation is ongoing to root out any hidden militants still in the area.
