Sardar Harjit Singh, leader of the Delhi Gurdwara Management Committee, highlighted the restoration of gurdwaras to their original beauty, along with the excellent provisions for medical aid, transportation, and overall hospitality.
The pilgrims were bid farewell at the Wagah Border by Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, President of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, and Saifullah Khokhar, Additional Secretary Shrines ETPB. The dignitaries presented gifts to the pilgrims, further cementing the bond of goodwill.
Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora emphasized that minorities in Pakistan enjoy complete protection and equal access to education, employment, and religious freedom.
Saifullah Khokhar appreciated the special interest shown by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain and ETPB Chairman Syed Atta-ur-Rehman in ensuring a welcoming experience for the pilgrims. He added, “We are always prepared to provide the best facilities for visitors and commend the efforts of all institutions involved.”
The ETPB also acknowledged the support of security, administrative personnel, and media representatives who contributed to the smooth execution of the pilgrimage.
