Fresh Israeli airstrikes in Da’ara in southern Syria

Syrian media have confirmed new Israeli airstrikes in the southern city of Da’ara, following a major shift in the region’s power dynamics. Rebel forces captured Damascus, ending Bashar al-Assad’s 50-year rule, a dramatic turn of events that has escalated tensions in the region.

Social media footage, though unverified, shows explosions consistent with the destruction of weapons stockpiles in targeted buildings. Israeli fighter jets have reportedly struck several locations across Syria, aiming to disable weaponry that could fall into the hands of adversarial forces following the Assad regime’s collapse.

In response to these developments, Israeli military forces have also repositioned in a newly established buffer zone along the Golan Heights
