PM Shehbaz Sharif Stresses Stronger Pakistan-Bangladesh Ties During outgoing High Commissioner Farewell Meeting

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif extended his warm wishes to Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor of the Interim Bangladesh government, emphasizing the need to transform the goodwill between Pakistan and Bangladesh into practical cooperation.

During a farewell meeting with Bangladesh’s outgoing High Commissioner Muhammad Ruhul Alam Siddique, the prime minister acknowledged Siddique’s significant contributions to enhancing bilateral relations during his four-year tenure in Pakistan, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the deep-rooted connections between the two nations, shaped by shared history, common faith, and cultural affinities. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to nurturing these ties and fostering mutual cooperation.

The High Commissioner expressed gratitude for the hospitality and support extended to him during his tenure. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wished him success in his future endeavors, acknowledging his role in strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
