Saudi Arabia, Pakistan Discuss Bolstering Security Cooperation

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are set to enhance their security cooperation following high-level discussions in Riyadh on Monday. Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif met with Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi.

The meeting, held under the directives of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, focused on combating drug trafficking and tackling other mutual security concerns. Both sides emphasized the importance of sharing intelligence, enhancing border controls, and pursuing collaborative approaches to transnational security challenges.

The dialogue underscores the enduring partnership between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, with a shared commitment to regional stability and safety. Both nations are also exploring broader avenues of collaboration beyond security, reinforcing their strong bilateral ties.
