DPM/FM Ishaq Dar Orders Swift Assistance for Pakistani Victims of Moroccan Boat Tragedy

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has directed government agencies to ensure efficient and timely assistance for Pakistani victims of the Moroccan boat tragedy.

Chairing a high-level meeting on Saturday, Dar instructed the ministries of foreign affairs and interior to coordinate the government’s response and provide necessary support to affected individuals and their families.

The meeting also addressed broader issues related to third-country relocations of Afghan nationals and reviewed the recent boat tragedy off the coast of Morocco, which resulted in multiple casualties.

Senior officials, including the secretaries of the ministries of foreign affairs and interior, were present at the meeting to assess the situation and implement necessary measures.
