21 Pakistani Nationals Rescued Off Moroccan Coast: Foreign Office

Twenty-one Pakistani citizens have been rescued following a maritime incident near Dakhla, Morocco, according to the Foreign Office (FO).

The FO spokesperson stated that immediate assistance was provided through Pakistan’s diplomatic mission in Rabat. The Pakistani Embassy arranged essential provisions, including food, water, medicine, and clothing for the rescued individuals. Meanwhile, local authorities in Dakhla are providing shelter and medical care in response to Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach.

A consular team from the Embassy is currently stationed in Dakhla to oversee relief efforts and coordinate with local authorities.

The Pakistani government remains in close contact with Moroccan officials to ensure comprehensive support and finalize repatriation procedures. The spokesperson emphasized, “We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of overseas Pakistanis and will continue to monitor the situation closely.”
