German Winter Market-2025 Event Held in Karachi

The traditional “German Winter Market-2025” event was held in Karachi on Sunday, organized by the German Consulate. The event featured 74 stalls set up by Pakistani and German companies and entrepreneurs, showcasing a variety of products.

The German Consul General in Karachi, Dr. Rudiger Lotz, inaugurated the event. In his remarks to the press, Dr. Lotz described the Winter Market as an annual tradition designed to display a wide range of products. He highlighted the diversity of stalls, which included displays of traditional crafts, food, and the collaborative efforts of artists from both countries to promote cultural exchange.

Dr. Lotz expressed gratitude to the sponsors, participants, and visitors for making the event a success.

Andreas Wegner, the Deputy Head of Mission at the German Consulate, emphasized that the event serves to promote cultural and trade relations between Pakistan and Germany. He remarked that Karachi, with its rich culture and delicious food, is a significant city for such engagements, helping foster stronger ties for trade and investment.

Anja Klose, the Consul at the German Consulate, added that the event had over 74 stalls, with 12 German companies participating. The market offered a festive experience featuring German food, drinks, music, and handicrafts, providing a glimpse into the cultural ties between the two nations.
