Pakistan, Turkiye Strengthen Ties with MoUs on Media and Cultural Cooperation

Report By Syed Farzand Ali

Pakistan and Turkiye have signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements to enhance cooperation in media, public relations, cultural exchange, and audiovisual services. The signing ceremony, held in Islamabad, was attended by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The agreements were exchanged between Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage, and Culture Attaullah Tarar and Turkish officials, including Director of Communications Fahrettin Altan and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. These MoUs aim to boost collaboration in journalism, film, television, digital media, and cultural diplomacy.

The strategic partnership will foster stronger media ties, promote shared cultural heritage, and facilitate knowledge exchange between both nations. This initiative marks a significant step in deepening Pakistan-Turkiye bilateral relations, reinforcing their commitment to regional cooperation and global media integration.
