Turkish, Pakistani Ambassadors Discuss Bilateral Ties in Abu Dhabi
In a significant diplomatic engagement, Türkiye’s newly appointed Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Lütfullah Göktaş, met with Pakistan’s Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi at Pakistan House in Abu Dhabi on Friday.
This marked Ambassador Göktaş’s first official meeting with a foreign envoy in the UAE, highlighting the strong diplomatic ties between Türkiye and Pakistan.
Strengthening Bilateral Relations
During the meeting, both diplomats reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural exchanges between their nations. They also discussed regional developments and mutual interests in the Middle East and South Asia.
Ambassador Tirmizi welcomed his Turkish counterpart and extended best wishes for a successful tenure.
Türkiye-Pakistan Relations in the UAE
The UAE hosts a significant Pakistani and Turkish expatriate population, contributing to business, trade, and cultural exchanges between the two nations. Both ambassadors expressed their intent to facilitate greater economic partnerships and collaborative initiatives within the UAE.
