Pakistan’s Ambassador to France, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, represented the country at the 61st edition of the Salon International de agriculture 2025 in Paris, engaging in discussions to strengthen cooperation in agriculture and animal health.

On the sidelines of the event, Ambassador Baloch met with French Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Année Genevard and Director General of the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH), Dr. Emmanuelle Soubeyran. The discussions focused on exploring partnerships in seed technologies, aggrotech innovation, sustainable farming practices, peri-urban agriculture, and genetic advancements in livestock breeding.

The ambassador also engaged with European experts and entrepreneurs, emphasizing knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote resilient and sustainable agricultural practices between Pakistan and France.
