Iran Condemns Terrorist Attack on Passenger Train in Baluchistan
Report by Syed Farzand Ali
Iran has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on a passenger train in Baluchistan, calling it a cowardly crime against humanity. Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Ismail Baghaei, expressed deep concern over the safety of innocent civilians caught in the violence.
In an official statement, Baghaei reaffirmed Iran’s firm stance against terrorism and violent extremism, extending solidarity to Pakistan’s government and people. He also reiterated Iran’s willingness to assist in any way necessary to help resolve the situation and ensure the safety of those affected.
The Iranian Embassy in Islamabad also issued a statement denouncing the attack, emphasizing that targeting civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, is a serious violation of human rights and international laws. The embassy condemned the assault on vital transportation infrastructure, stressing that such acts of violence must be confronted with strong international cooperation.
This condemnation comes as security forces in Pakistan continue operations to neutralize terrorist elements and restore peace in the region. The incident has drawn widespread international condemnation, highlighting the urgent need for regional security collaboration to combat terrorism effectively.
