Uzbekistan Showcases Culinary Heritage at ‘Food Fest Uzbekistan 2025’ in Islamabad

Islamabad witnessed the grand opening of ‘Food Fest Uzbekistan 2025’, inaugurated by Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Alisher Tukhtaev. The three-day event, hosted at Centaurus Mall Islamabad, features 15 top Uzbek food companies, offering a diverse range of traditional delicacies.

The festival, organized under Uzbekistan’s Plant Protection and Quarantine Agency, aims to promote cultural and trade ties between Uzbekistan and Pakistan. Visitors can explore authentic Uzbek cuisine, including Plov, Samsa, Lagman, and Chak-Chak, renowned for their rich flavors and deep historical roots.

Ambassador Tukhtaev emphasized that food serves as a bridge between cultures, fostering stronger connections. He encouraged Pakistani businesses to explore collaborations in the food sector, strengthening trade partnerships between the two countries.

With a vibrant atmosphere, the festival offers a unique gastronomic experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in Uzbek culture and hospitality. The event will continue for three days, providing an opportunity for food enthusiasts and business leaders to engage in culinary and trade exchanges.
