Pakistan Urges India to End Hostile Rhetoric, Calls for Constructive Dialogue
Pakistan has strongly criticized India’s ongoing anti-Pakistan rhetoric, warning that such narratives undermine regional peace and obstruct diplomatic progress.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan addressed the issue following recent remarks by the Indian Prime Minister during an international podcast. He stated that India’s misleading statements overlook key realities, particularly the unresolved Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
Pakistan Rejects India’s Narrative
The spokesperson refuted India’s portrayal of victimhood, asserting that India itself has been involved in destabilizing activities, including cross-border subversion and human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK). He further pointed out that India must reflect on its actions, instead of placing blame on others.
Call for Diplomatic Engagement
Pakistan reaffirmed its stance on constructive dialogue as the only path to lasting peace. The spokesperson emphasized that while Pakistan remains committed to diplomacy, India’s rigid policies and hegemonic ambitions continue to block progress.
Pakistan called on India to abandon its confrontational approach and engage in meaningful discussions to resolve disputes, ensuring stability in South Asia.
