Pakistan and EU Officials Discuss Trade and Parliamentary Cooperation

 

Chargé d’Affaires of Pakistan’s Embassy in Belgium, Syed Faraz Hussain Zaidi, met with MEP Majdouline Sbaï, the GSP Rapporteur at the European Parliament, to discuss Pakistan-EU trade relations under the GSP Plus scheme.

During the meeting, both officials explored opportunities to enhance bilateral trade and investment, emphasizing the importance of Pakistan’s access to European markets. They also exchanged views on strengthening parliamentary cooperation and expanding economic ties between Pakistan and the European Union.

The discussion highlighted mutual commitment to fostering a stronger partnership, ensuring sustainable trade benefits, and promoting economic growth and diplomatic collaboration between the two regions.
