Ambassador Sadiq Khan Visits Afghanistan to Strengthen Bilateral Relations
Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Ambassador Muhammad Sadiq Khan, is on an official visit to Afghanistan from March 21-23 to discuss key aspects of bilateral ties, according to a statement from the Foreign Office (FO).
The visit comes under the directives of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, reflecting Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing diplomatic engagement with Afghanistan.
Ambassador Sadiq Khan is expected to hold high-level meetings with Afghan officials to discuss regional security, trade, and border management, as well as measures to promote economic and political cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
The visit underscores Pakistan’s continued efforts to foster stability, peace, and mutual collaboration with Afghanistan, reinforcing the importance of diplomatic dialogue in addressing shared challenges and opportunities.
