Pakistan to Send Qualified Female Nurses to Malaysia Under OEC Initiative
Pakistan will be exporting trained female nursing staff to Malaysia, according to the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), a subsidiary of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD).
The initiative is designed to fill a growing demand in Malaysia’s healthcare sector for specialized nursing professionals. The selection process will be based on qualifications and work experience in key hospital departments, including Coronary Care Units (CCU), Medical/Surgical Wards, ICUs, Pediatric and Neonatal ICUs, and Cardiac Units.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the opportunity, candidates must:
- Hold a Diploma in General Nursing along with a Post-Basic specialization
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in ICU (Cardiac preferred)
- Be female, aged 45 or below
Required Documents for Interview
Applicants are required to present the following documents at the time of the interview:
- Updated resume with color photograph (using Gmail email ID)
- Educational certificates with certified true copies
- Nursing diplomas and degrees
- Valid nursing registration certificates
- Academic transcripts and current practicing license
- Birth certificate, international passport, and marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Testimonial from latest employer and recent pay slips (if available)
- Five passport-size photographs
Application Details
Interested candidates must submit an online application along with a bank challan of Rs. 500 generated during the submission process. All completed applications were to be submitted by the deadline of April 11, 2025.
