Bodies of 8 Pakistani Citizens Killed in Iran Brought Home by PAF Aircraft
The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) transported the bodies of eight Pakistani nationals from Zahedan, Iran, to Bahawalpur, following a tragic terrorist attack in Iran’s Sistan-Balochistan province.
The deceased, all hailing from Bahawalpur district, were victims of a brutal act of terrorism. Their remains were flown back to Pakistan aboard a PAF C-130 aircraft on special instructions from the government, according to a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Early Thursday morning, the aircraft carrying the coffins landed at Bahawalpur Airport, where a solemn ceremony was held in their honor.
Senior civil and military leaders were present at the airport to pay their respects and convey condolences to the families of the victims.
The Pakistan Armed Forces reiterated their firm stance against terrorism, pledging to continue efforts to eradicate this menace in all its forms. Expressing deep sorrow, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Service Chiefs offered heartfelt condolences and prayers for the departed souls and strength for their families.
