Over 23,000 Pakistani Pilgrims to Perform Hajj 2025 Under Private Scheme
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced that 23,620 Pakistani citizens will undertake the Hajj pilgrimage in 2025 through the Private Hajj Scheme.
According to Ministry Spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt, an updated list of authorized Hajj Group Organizers (HGOs) and licensed service providers has been uploaded to the Ministry’s official website and is also accessible via the Pak Hajj 2025 mobile app.
Pilgrims who have applied through private operators are urged to confirm the authenticity of their travel arrangements and check their application status by visiting the official portal: https://pvt-inquiry.hajjinfo.org. The app also offers timely updates and important resources for prospective pilgrims.
Umar Butt emphasized that all registered HGOs must issue official Hajj contracts to their clients, aligned with their approved quota for this year. Additionally, they are required to complete the issuance of Hajj visas by April 18, 2025, in compliance with the regulations set by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
For assistance or to lodge a complaint, pilgrims can contact the Section Officer (Monitoring & Complaints) at 051-9218571 or email somonitoring@mora.gov.pk. Queries related to HGOs may be directed to 051-9207519 or sohgomora@gmail.com.
