Deputy PM Ishaq Dar, Iranian FM Discuss Pakistan-India Tensions and Regional Peace
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Friday to discuss recent regional developments and security concerns.
Pakistan Rejects Indian Allegations
During the conversation, DPM Ishaq Dar provided a detailed briefing on the current state of Pakistan-India relations. He strongly rejected India’s baseless accusations against Pakistan and warned against any further provocative or escalatory actions by New Delhi.
Iran’s Role in Promoting Regional Stability Acknowledged
Ishaq Dar appreciated Iran’s diplomatic efforts in the region to promote peace and stability. He acknowledged Tehran’s determination to prevent further deterioration of the situation in South Asia
Support for Iran-US Dialogue in Muscat
The Deputy Prime Minister also extended his best wishes for the upcoming Iran-US dialogue scheduled to take place in Muscat on Saturday. He expressed hope that the talks would yield positive outcomes for regional diplomacy and international cooperation.
