Pakistan Air Force Shoots Down 5 Indian Jets Including Rafale.
In a decisive response to Indian aggression, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) successfully downed three Indian fighter jets, including a Rafale, along with one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), security sources confirmed on Tuesday.
Defense analysts reported that two of the Indian aircraft shot down by PAF were likely Sukhoi Su-30MKI and Rafale fighter jets. One of the Indian Su-30MKI aircraft was reportedly destroyed near Akhnoor using an air-to-air missile launched by a Pakistani fighter jet.
The second Indian aircraft was neutralized by Pakistan’s long-range missile system HQ-9 HIMADS, which intercepted the target during its intrusion attempt.
According to international news agencies, the third Indian jet destroyed by Pakistani forces was confirmed to be a Rafale. Earlier, the Director General of ISPR had officially confirmed the downing of two Indian warplanes during an interview with global media outlets.
Security officials assured that all PAF aircraft involved in the operations remain safe and intact. They emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces are delivering a strong and calculated response to India’s unprovoked hostilities.
In addition to the aerial interceptions, Pakistan also launched retaliatory missile strikes, successfully destroying India’s brigade headquarters. Moreover, a critical enemy post was obliterated in the Dudhniyal sector along the Line of Control (LoC).
