Pakistan has issued a strong condemnation of India’s recent missile attacks, labeling the action as a blatant violation of the United Nations Charter, international law, and established global norms governing inter-state conduct.

According to the official statement issued by the Foreign Office, India carried out missile strikes late Tuesday night, targeting five different locations across Pakistan, including Muridke, Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The unprovoked aggression resulted in the death of a child and injuries to two others, including a woman.

The Foreign Office confirmed that India launched the attacks while remaining within its own airspace and used standoff weapons to target civilian populations. Pakistan stated it reserves the right to respond at a time and place of its choosing, invoking Article 51 of the UN Charter, which guarantees the right to self-defense.

The missile strikes, which directly targeted civilian zones, have been described as a clear act of war. The Foreign Office emphasized that these strikes not only violated Pakistan’s sovereignty but also endangered commercial air traffic across the region.

Pakistan accused India of exploiting the recent Pahalgam incident to push a false narrative of terrorism and victimhood. The statement highlighted that India’s use of the incident to justify missile attacks is a deliberate move to destabilize regional peace and security.
