Pakistan High Commission in Tanzania Observes Youm-e-Tashakur with Patriotic Spirit
The High Commission of Pakistan in Dar-es-Salaam commemorated Youm-e-Tashakur on Friday with a solemn and patriotic ceremony attended by members of the Pakistani community residing in Tanzania.
The ceremony began with a flag-hoisting ritual performed by High Commissioner Siraj Ahmad Khan, accompanied by the playing of the national anthem. The messages of the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan were read out, highlighting national pride and the importance of unity.
Acknowledgment of Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos
In his keynote remarks, High Commissioner Siraj Ahmad Khan congratulated the Pakistani nation and diaspora on the success of Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos. He commended the armed forces for their strategic efforts and highlighted the operation as a symbol of Pakistan’s strength, sovereignty, and resolve.
He also stressed the importance of unity and national cohesion in overcoming internal and external challenges. “Our strength lies in our unity,” he stated, calling on Pakistanis worldwide to stay committed to the country’s stability and development.

The ceremony concluded with prayers for peace, progress, and national harmony. Members of the community expressed their unwavering love for Pakistan and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting a positive image of their homeland abroad.
