Israeli Military Issues Evacuation Orders for 14 Northern Gaza Neighborhoods
Report by Safarti Tarjuman International Desk
The Israeli military has issued urgent evacuation directives for 14 neighborhoods in northern Gaza, including several sectors of Beit Lahia and Jabalia. The announcement was made on Thursday as part of intensified military operations in the area.
In a statement delivered in Arabic, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) warned civilians to leave immediately, citing ongoing militant activity in the targeted zones. The IDF declared that it is operating “with significant force” in these locations where armed groups are reportedly continuing their operations.
This latest evacuation order follows a similar warning issued on Wednesday evening. According to the military, the actions are a direct response to continued rocket launches from northern Gaza into Israeli territory.
Residents in the affected neighborhoods have been instructed to relocate southward to safer areas. The move signals a further escalation in military activity as the IDF increases its efforts to neutralize threats in the region.
The humanitarian impact remains severe, with repeated displacement adding pressure to already strained resources. Aid organizations have raised concerns over the safety of civilians and called for adherence to international humanitarian law.
