Pakistani Journalists Holds Productive Meeting with Tajikistan’s Investment Committee

DUSHANBE,  A delegation of senior Pakistani journalists held a comprehensive meeting with Ms. Khurshida, Deputy Chairperson of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management under Tajikistan’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, in Dushanbe on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Ms. Khurshida highlighted the government’s efforts to improve the investment climate in Tajikistan and welcomed media collaboration in promoting the country’s potential across key sectors. She underscored Tajikistan’s strategic location, abundant natural resources, and emerging infrastructure as promising incentives for foreign investors, particularly from Pakistan and other South Asian nations.

Pakistani Journalist Holds Productive Meeting with Tajikistan’s Investment Committee

The visiting journalists commended Tajikistan’s investment policies and expressed appreciation for the ongoing economic reforms that aim to enhance regional cooperation. He noted the growing interest of Pakistani investors and media in Central Asia, especially in sectors such as hydropower, textiles, agriculture, and tourism.

The discussion also covered future opportunities for media engagement to support bilateral trade and investment relations. Both sides agreed on the importance of accurate and proactive journalism in building awareness of regional initiatives and economic opportunities.

The meeting reflects Tajikistan’s commitment to open dialogue with international stakeholders and its interest in fostering economic diplomacy through media channels.
