Pakistani PM Meets UAE President in Abu Dhabi, Agrees to Boost Economic and Strategic Ties

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Abu Dhabi on Thursday for a one-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates at the invitation of UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

At Al Bateen Airport, the Prime Minister was warmly received by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President’s brother and National Security Advisor, who also accompanied him to the Presidential Palace.

Also present to welcome the Prime Minister were Ali Ahmed Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the UAE Supreme National Security Council, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, and other senior Pakistani diplomats.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with the UAE President at Qasr Al Shati Palace, where both leaders held extensive talks on enhancing bilateral cooperation. The discussions focused on regional peace, economic partnerships, and joint development initiatives.

Senior UAE officials, including Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, were also present at the high-level meeting.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met the UAE President at Qasr Al Shati Palace, where the two leaders engaged in comprehensive discussions on regional peace, bilateral relations, and economic and development cooperation.

Shahbaz Shrif praised Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s diplomatic leadership and efforts to promote international peace and stability.

They reaffirmed their commitment to shared goals and mutual interests, highlighting a unified approach to regional development.

The two sides agreed to bolster cooperation in trade, investment, and infrastructure. The meeting concluded with a mutual pledge to elevate the Pakistan-UAE strategic partnership and take bilateral relations to new heights.
