CJCSC Gen. Sahir Shamshad Mirza Confers Civil Awards on 47 NCA Scientists and Engineers

RAWALPINDI— General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and Deputy Chairman of the Development Control Committee, conferred civil awards on 47 eminent scientists and engineers serving under the National Command Authority (NCA) in recognition of their exceptional contributions to national defense and strategic development.

The investiture ceremony was held at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi, and conducted on behalf of the President of Pakistan, according to a press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Honours Conferred

  • Sitara-i-Imtiaz awarded to 10 officers
  • President’s Award for Pride of Performance presented to 21 professionals
  • Tamgha-i-Imtiaz conferred upon 16 individuals

These awards recognize the meritorious services and technical excellence of those contributing to Pakistan’s strategic programs, reinforcing national defense through innovation and dedication.

CJCSC General Mirza lauded the recipients’ commitment to scientific advancement, stating that their work under the NCA continues to be a cornerstone of Pakistan’s technological self-reliance and national security framework.
