
Pakistan, Egypt Explore Joint Media Projects During Ambassador’s Visit to EMPC

CAIRO — Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt, Aamer Shaukat, held a high-level meeting with the Chairman and CEO of the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC), Abdel Fattah El-Gebaly, to explore new avenues for media collaboration and joint content ventures between Pakistan and Egypt.
During the meeting in Cairo, both sides agreed on the importance of strengthening bilateral ties through media and entertainment. Ambassador Shaukat and EMPC Chairman El-Gebaly discussed plans for joint media productions, exchange of technical expertise, and training programs to elevate the quality and reach of content in both countries.
The discussions also focused on cultural exchange initiatives that would showcase the rich histories and contemporary stories of Pakistan and Egypt on regional and global platforms.
Ambassador Shaukat toured the state-of-the-art EMPC facilities, where he was briefed on the center’s high-tech production capabilities and international-standard studio infrastructure. He visited various theme-based sets that reflect Egyptian and global cultures and expressed admiration for the professional standards maintained at EMPC.
He noted that Pakistani media professionals and institutions could greatly benefit from collaboration with EMPC in areas such as production design, broadcast innovation, and post-production services.
The visit marks a significant step in cultural diplomacy and underlines Pakistan’s commitment to fostering stronger people-to-people connections through media.
