Pakistan and UAE Review Bilateral Agreements, Eye Future Collaboration

Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, met with Mohamed Al Hawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment of the Emirates, on Friday to evaluate the progress of seven bilateral MoUs signed between the two countries.

The MoUs cover sectors such as energy, agriculture, infrastructure development, finance, and technology. Both sides noted the significant progress made and the benefits these agreements have brought to their economies. They also highlighted the positive impact of recent high-level exchanges between Pakistan and UAE leadership.

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the future trajectory of the relationship, with both officials expressing confidence in continued collaboration. They explored ways to expand trade volumes, identify new investment opportunities, and enhance ease of doing business.

The conversation also touched on promoting joint ventures and increasing private sector involvement. Both Tirmizi and Al Hawi reiterated their commitment to a robust economic partnership that fosters growth and development for both nations.
