Pakistan and UAE Review MoUs, Discuss Future Economic Collaboration

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, met with Mohamed Al Hawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment, on Friday to assess progress on the seven MoUs signed between the two nations. These agreements span sectors such as energy, agriculture, infrastructure, finance, and technology.

The meeting underscored the substantial advancements made in implementing these MoUs, noting the positive impact on both economies. Both officials highlighted the benefits realized and the momentum from recent high-level exchanges between the leaders of Pakistan and the UAE.

Tirmizi and Al Hawi expressed a forward-looking outlook, stressing the importance of sustained high-level cooperation. They discussed strategies to enhance bilateral trade and investment, focusing on increasing trade volumes and exploring new areas of mutual interest.

The officials emphasized the need to facilitate business operations, promote joint ventures, and engage the private sector to fully realize the potential of their economic collaboration. They reiterated their commitment to strengthening the economic ties between Pakistan and the UAE for mutual prosperity and growth.
