Former West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has officially confirmed his retirement from all forms of cricket. In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Bravo stated, “My body can no longer withstand the pain, injuries, and stress, so it is with a heavy heart that I announce my formal retirement from all forms of cricket.”
Notably, Bravo had announced prior to the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL) that this tournament would be his last. Unfortunately, he suffered a back injury during a CPL match.
Bravo had previously retired from international cricket in 2021 and participated in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2023. Over his One Day International (ODI) career, he played 164 matches, scoring 2,968 runs and claiming 199 wickets, leaving a significant mark on the game.
