Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team Edged Out by Bangladesh in T20 World Cup Warm-Up

The Pakistan women’s cricket team was defeated by Bangladesh by 23 runs in their second warm-up match ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Bangladesh batted first, scoring 140 runs while losing 7 wickets in their 20 overs.

In reply, Pakistan struggled to find their rhythm, finishing their innings at 117 runs in 18.4 overs. Nida Dar was notable in the bowling department, claiming one wicket for 15 runs in her 3 overs.

This match follows Pakistan’s earlier defeat to Scotland, where they lost by 8 wickets in their opening warm-up encounter. The team is set to launch its World Cup campaign on October 3 against Sri Lanka.
