Pakistan and England Test Series: Match Officials Appointed

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the match officials for the highly anticipated Test series against England. West Indies cricket legend Sir Richie Richardson will take on the role of ICC match referee for the duration of the series.

The first Test, scheduled to kick off on October 7 at the Multan Cricket Stadium, will see Sri Lanka’s Kumar Dharmasena and Bangladesh’s Sharfuddoula Saikat as the on-field umpires. For the second Test, also hosted in Multan starting October 15, the umpires will be New Zealand’s Christopher Gaffaney and Dharmasena.

In the third and final Test, commencing October 24 in Rawalpindi, Gaffaney and Sharfuddoula will again be the on-field umpires.

This series promises to be an exciting chapter in the ongoing rivalry between Pakistan and England. Fans eagerly await how both teams will perform on the field, especially given their historical competition.
