Egyptian, Ethiopian envoys call on National Assembly Speaker

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing its cordial relations with Egypt during a meeting with Egyptian Ambassador Dr. Ihab AbdelHamid Hassan at the Parliament House on Thursday. Sadiq noted that the relationship between the two brotherly nations is rooted in shared religion, culture, history, mutual respect, and brotherhood.

During the discussion, he expressed grave concern over the escalating situation in the Middle East, condemning Israeli aggression in Palestine and Lebanon. Sadiq urged the international community to take action to end Israeli occupation and aggression, advocating for a durable peace in the region. He reiterated Pakistan’s intention to expand existing ties through increased parliamentary and economic cooperation.
