Pakistani President Confers Malaysia’s Prime Minister with Nishan-e-Pakistan

In a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad, President Asif Ali Zardari awarded Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim with the Nishan-e-Pakistan. The event was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, federal ministers, and high-ranking civil and military officials.

Also present were Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, and Punjab’s Governor.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is on a three-day official visit to Pakistan, following an invitation from PM Shehbaz Sharif. Upon his arrival at the Prime Minister’s House, he received a warm welcome, including a Guard of Honor from the Pakistan Armed Forces.
