The Atlanta Falcons secured a thrilling overtime win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 36-30, to start Week 5. Desmond Ridder found KhaDarel Hodge for a decisive 45-yard touchdown on the first possession of overtime, capping a back-and-forth contest.
Younghoe Koo’s 52-yard field goal at the end of regulation kept Atlanta’s hopes alive, tying the game and sending it to overtime. Tampa Bay’s Baker Mayfield threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns, while the Buccaneers racked up 160 rushing yards. However, a critical 14-yard loss on their final drive pushed them out of field-goal range, allowing the Falcons to stage their comeback.
