Iran Cancels All Flights Overnight Due to Operational Restrictions

Iran has abruptly canceled all flights at its airports from Sunday night to early Monday morning. The Civil Aviation Organization confirmed the suspension due to unspecified “operational restrictions.”

The flight cancellations come during escalating regional tensions, following Iran’s ballistic missile attacks on Israeli military bases and Israel’s threats of retaliatory strikes. Earlier in the day, Iran’s Oil Minister visited the nation’s largest oil facilities and discussed security measures with top commanders from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
