Yousaf Raza Gilani Reiterates Commitment to Strengthening Ties with Azerbaijan

Chairman of the Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, expressed Pakistan’s deep-rooted cultural and religious bonds with Azerbaijan during a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador Khazar Farhadov. He highlighted the steady increase in bilateral trade and emphasized the potential for further collaboration across various sectors. Gilani called for enhanced parliamentary exchanges to strengthen people-to-people contacts and congratulated Azerbaijan on winning the bid to host COP29 in Baku in 2024, affirming Pakistan’s participation in the event.
