
21 Miners Killed, 6 Injured in Terrorist Attack in Baluchistan

A Terrorist attack on coal mines in Duki, Baluchistan, has left 21 miners dead and 6 injured. According to district authorities, the attack was carried out by unknown assailants who used heavy weaponry, including hand grenades and rocket launchers. In addition to the loss of lives, the attackers also set fire to the engines of 10 coal mines.
District Chairman Haji Khairullah Nasir confirmed the use of advanced weaponry in the assault. Law enforcement and rescue teams, including police and FC, reached the site shortly after the incident. The police fear the death toll may increase as the situation continues to unfold, with all the injured transferred to nearby hospitals.
SHO Duki, Humayun Khan Nasir, revealed that the attackers grouped the miners before executing the assault. The slain workers hailed from multiple regions, including Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Pishin, and Kuchlak. Security forces have since cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the perpetrators.
This brutal act has shaken the mining community, and authorities are now focused on ensuring the safety of workers in the region.
