President Asif Ali Zardari Signs 26th Constitutional Amendment

President Asif Ali Zardari has signed the 26th Constitutional Amendment, leading to the issuance of its gazette notification by the National Assembly Secretariat.

After the Parliament approved the amendment, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif sent an advisory to President Zardari for ratification. Following the approval from the President, the gazette notification for the 26th Constitutional Amendment has been issued.

With the issuance of this notification by the National Assembly, the 26th Constitutional Amendment has now been enacted as the 2024 Act of Parliament, officially coming into effect.
