Top Trending Halloween Costumes of 2024, According to Google

Google’s has unveiled its annual “Frightgeist” list, showcasing 25 costume ideas that are trending based on search data comparisons from September of previous years. This year’s list reflects a rich tapestry of pop culture influences shaping Halloween 2024.
Leading the pack is Bob, the shrunken-headed ghost from the recently released “Beetlejuice” sequel. In second place is Raygun, the viral breakdancer, whose performance at the Olympics has driven a surge in searches for his “green and yellow track suit.” Coming in third is CatNap, the feline-inspired monster from the popular video game series “Poppy Playtime.”
Also making the top 10 are Lady Deadpool, the female counterpart to the beloved anti-hero, and singer Sabrina Carpenter, whose eye-catching cut-out heart corset has gained significant attention this year, according to Google Trends.
