
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif Arrives in Saudi Arabia for Official Visit

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has landed in Saudi Arabia for a two-day official visit, where he praised the vision of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during his address at the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference in Riyadh.
In his speech, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for organizing the event. He highlighted that economic stability in Pakistan has been made possible through the cooperation of Saudi Arabia and other friendly nations.
Commending the Saudi Crown Prince’s Vision 2023, Prime Minister Shahbaz described it as commendable and reiterated that the government’s priority is the welfare of the public. He asserted that Pakistan is on the path of development and stability.
Upon arriving at Riyadh Airport, the Prime Minister was welcomed by senior Saudi officials. The FII conference, which is taking place at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center, will continue until October 31, 2024.
According to the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and other officials to discuss bilateral matters. Both parties will explore the economic and strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, focusing on cooperation in the economic, energy, and defense sectors.
Additionally, Prime Minister Shahbaz is expected to engage with leaders and entrepreneurs participating in the Future Investment Initiative conference.
