
Bomb blast near school in Baluchistan kills five, including children

A bomb blast near a girls’ high school at the Civil Hospital Chowk in Mastung district, Baluchistan, has resulted in the deaths of seven individuals, including schoolchildren, and left over 20 others injured.
According to police reports, the deceased include one police officer, five children, and one passerby, with most of the injured being school students. Tragically, three more injured individuals succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital, raising the death toll to seven.
The injured have been transferred to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, and the blast also destroyed a police mobile unit. Several vehicles and rickshaws in the vicinity of the chowk sustained damage, and the sound of the explosion was heard in nearby areas. Police and rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene to assist.
