Trump Spokesperson Says President-Elect Wants Israel’s Wars to End

A spokesperson for US President-elect Donald Trump has confirmed that Trump is keen on seeing Israel’s ongoing wars wrap up swiftly, but with a decisive victory in hand. Elizabeth Pipko, speaking to Israel’s Channel 12 TV, emphasized that Trump seeks a resolution where Israel achieves its military objectives in its conflicts with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Pipko also expressed concerns about the Biden administration’s approach to Israel, stating that it has not been “decisive” enough in supporting the country. She declined to speculate on whether Trump would give Israel a free hand to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities, pointing out that the incoming president will share his stance on such matters once he takes office in January.
