PM Shehbaz Sharif Condemns Attack on Chinese Nationals, Visits Embassy

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif made a significant visit to the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad, where he met with China’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, to express his strong condemnation of the recent shooting incident that targeted Chinese nationals in Karachi.

Speaking with the ambassador, the Prime Minister expressed his deep concern and shared his solidarity with the Chinese citizens affected by the attack. He assured the embassy that the government was closely monitoring the investigation and was taking all necessary steps to apprehend those responsible for the crime.

Prime Minister Sharif also emphasized that the safety of Chinese nationals in Pakistan is a top priority for the government, stressing that such attacks undermine the longstanding friendly relations between the two countries. He confirmed that the injured Chinese citizens were receiving top-notch medical care, and their condition was improving.

In response, Ambassador Jiang thanked the Prime Minister for his support and expressed hope that the Pakistani authorities would swiftly bring the perpetrators to justice.
