African Union raised alarms over Against Sudan’s Partition

The African Union (AU) has raised alarms over the increasing risk of Sudan’s division as violent clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continue to escalate. In an official statement, the AU urged both member states and the global community to reject any efforts to establish parallel governments or recognize breakaway entities.

With thousands killed and millions displaced, the humanitarian crisis in Sudan has reached critical levels. The AU has called for an immediate ceasefire and a unified peace process, warning that continued instability could destabilize the entire region.

Global leaders and humanitarian organizations have echoed the AU’s concerns, emphasizing the need for urgent diplomatic intervention. The AU is set to engage in high-level discussions to prevent Sudan’s fragmentation and push for a negotiated resolution to the conflict.
