Ambassador Tipu Briefs Iranian Parliamentarian on India’s Hostile Acts, Appreciates Tehran’s Peace Efforts

Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, held a significant meeting with Fida Maliki, Chairman of the Pakistan-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group in Tehran, to discuss India’s recent aggressive actions and Pakistan’s carefully calibrated military response.

According to an official statement, Ambassador Tipu extended formal gratitude to the Iranian government for its offer to mediate following India’s unprovoked hostility. He emphasized that Pakistan promptly accepted Iran’s diplomatic initiative, while India refused to cooperate, missing an opportunity to de-escalate tensions.

Ambassador Tipu strongly criticized the Indian government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, labeling its policies as expansionist and ideologically dangerous, drawing parallels with neo-Nazi tendencies. He highlighted that India, without credible evidence, immediately accused Pakistan following the Pahalgam incident, and proceeded with a large-scale military assault on May 6 and 7—an act repelled effectively by Pakistan’s armed forces.

“Pakistan’s initial response was restrained, aimed at preserving regional peace,” said Tipu. “However, after India crossed all limits, we defended our sovereignty with professionalism, precision, and respect for international norms.”

Chairman Fida Maliki reaffirmed Iran’s unwavering solidarity with Pakistan, describing the bilateral ties as historic, enduring, and built on mutual trust. He congratulated Pakistan for achieving a ceasefire and reiterated Iran’s full support for Pakistan’s territorial rights and national security.

The meeting underlines growing regional cooperation and shared concern over rising hostilities in South Asia, with both countries committed to dialogue and stability.
