Ambassador Zahra Baloch Briefs ASPAC Plenary Meeting, Reaffirms Pakistan’s Commitment to UNESCO Goals
Pakistan’s Ambassador and Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, briefed the participants of the ASPAC (Asia-Pacific) plenary meeting in her capacity as Vice-Chair of the Executive Board of UNESCO.
During the meeting, Ambassador Baloch reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to regional cooperation in achieving UNESCO’s objectives, particularly in education, cultural heritage preservation, and scientific collaboration. The Pakistan Embassy in France shared updates on the session via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, emphasizing the country’s proactive role in UNESCO’s regional initiatives.
Strengthening Pakistan-France Relations
Separately, Ambassador Baloch met with Deputy Secretary General David Bertolotti at the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Discussions focused on key bilateral issues and avenues for strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and France.
Both sides reiterated their commitment to enhancing diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties, underscoring the importance of mutual collaboration in addressing global challenges.
