Gaza’s media office has confirmed the death of journalist Bilal Rajab from al-Quds al-Youm TV channel, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City. The strike, which occurred near the Firas market, reportedly claimed the lives of three individuals, including Rajab.
According to the office, the grim total of journalists and media workers killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 183, marking this conflict as one of the deadliest for journalists.
In response to these tragic losses, the media office has urged the international community to take action and intervene to protect Palestinian journalists who continue to cover the ongoing war, emphasizing the urgent need for accountability in the face of escalating violence against the press.
