Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister to Visit Islamabad for Strategic Investment Talks
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, is set to arrive in Islamabad on Tuesday for a high-level official visit aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and finalizing key investment agreements between the two nations.
According to a statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Office, Minister Jabbarov’s visit will include bilateral meetings with top leadership, including a formal call on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The discussions are expected to focus on the finalization of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and other strategic agreements on joint investment projects.
The Azerbaijani minister will also engage in in-depth talks with Pakistan’s economic leadership, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, to explore avenues for bilateral trade and sector-specific cooperation in energy, infrastructure, transport, and technology.
This visit underscores the growing diplomatic and economic partnership between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, both of which are actively working to expand regional connectivity and mutual investment opportunities. The talks are expected to result in concrete outcomes that support Pakistan’s investment-friendly environment and Azerbaijan’s vision of regional economic integration.
